How to Request Deletion
To request the deletion of your account, please follow these steps:
- Send an email from your registered phone number's associated email (if any) or simply contact us at lingobruk@gmail.com.
- Include the subject line: "Account Deletion Request - [Your Phone Number]".
- In the body of the email, confirm that you wish to delete your account and all associated data.
Our support team will process your request and confirm once the deletion is initiated.
Data We Delete
Upon a successful deletion request, the following information will be permanently removed from our active systems:
- Authentication Data: Your phone number and login credentials in Firebase.
- Profile Information: Any user profile details and settings.
- Learning Progress: Your exam history, vocabulary scores, and game achievements.
Data We Retain
For legal, security, and analytical purposes, some data may be handled differently:
- Anonymized Data: We may retain anonymized usage statistics that do not identify you personally. This helps us improve our educational content.
- Retention Period: We maintain a security retention period of 1 year for certain transaction logs and security metadata before they are permanently purged from our backups. This exceeds the minimum requirement of 90 days to ensure platform integrity and recovery capabilities.
